Halloween Costumes

The vast majority of costumes made are Halloween costumes. While some people dress up year-round for various reasons, most people only wear costumes once a year, on Halloween. Every year, hundreds of temporary stores spring up selling costumes, makeup, and accessories to go with this holiday.  

The number of Halloween costumes that is produced every year is staggering. Every time popular books and movies are released, a whole group of new costumes has to be designed and created. Movies such as the Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter series have inspired many costumes from the movies themselves as well as many knockoffs.

There are also a lot of favorite Halloween costumes that have been around for a long time. Witches, vampires, and devils are common themes. But every year different variations on these costumes come out. This way there is always new stuff to look forward to, even if it is an old idea.
